History

Catriona started at the tender age of 3 years old in the small town of Ballycastle,Northern Ireland.

She became a Festival Irish Dance Champion at a very early age, and went on to explore her love of dance by studying a BTEC in Performing Arts; followed by a BA/BSc Honours Degree where she studied Contemporary Dance and consequently chose a career in Dance/Drama and Choreography.

Having studied both Irish and Contemporary Dance as part of her degree; in the course of which she shadowed Michael Flatley from Riverdance; Catriona choose to combine both these Dance forms.

Catriona has for the last 16 years been a Traditional/Contemporary  Irish dancer/Teacher and Choreographer. Her latest project was as Artist director/performer in the Celtic Connections Concert featuring Davy Spillane in Hong Kongs City hall. Catriona is also a Modern Tap Teacher and Speech & Drama Teacher and has worked throughout Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Taiwan , both the East and West Coasts of the USA, and Dubai.

Catriona has now opened another branch of 'Echoes of Erin School of Irish Dance' in Hong Kong.

 

Catriona is also a certified Speech and Drama teacher (LAMDA) with classes in Sai Kung, Hong Kong.
